Torture is torture. I don’t care how you put it. Now whether or not you may think it is useful in interrogation situations is another thing entirely. I think it is obvious that the interrogation techniques used after 9/11 were more than abrasive due to the fear & anger many Americans had towards those who resposible for the attacks. What I’m getting at is… Does that justify our government waterboarding a man 183 times after he had already confessed? I’m not sympathetic towards the guilty… what I am saying is… just kill him if you’re going to do all of that.

The problem with all of this is that we lay the claim that we are a nation of laws. We cannot justify torture in our society or we become a tyranny.

The video below is an example of what is like to be waterboarded. The “Shock Jock” host of the “Man Cow Show”, who is republican and a staunch advosary of the Obama administration, said that waterboarding is not torture. He decides to prove it by doing it to himself. Lets watch…

War is war. I don't necessarily agree with the treatment of POWs. But if the Treaty of Versailles and Genevia Code are not going to be followed by anyone then it is gonna be a No Holds Barred type of game. It is not like the U.N. takes a police force and investigates all POW camps to see if interrogation rules are being met.
